Liberty Baptist Church is a conservative, bible believing, bible teaching place to belong.
Liberty Baptist Church seeks a bi-vocational lead pastor , whose heart is that of a Evangelist-shepherd devoted to prayer and the ministry of the Word (Acts 6:4), disciple-making, missional leadership, pastoral care and finds it easy to share the gospel with the lost, leading them to receive Christ. His calling, spiritual gifts, passion, vision, experience, and education, will complement this commitment. As the lead pastor who reports to the church congregation, he will spiritually nurture the church and at the same time develop plans to establish a sustainable ministry. The ministry description will include preaching and teaching the Word of God, spiritual oversight, leadership and equipping the deacons to do ministry work, providing biblical counsel and performing church ordinances.
Qualifications:
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in biblical studies\Christian ministry\theology from an accredited Christian institution is preferred.
Demonstrates ability to relate to people of all ages and ethnic backgrounds, and to motivate and mobilize ministry teams.
A soul-winning man with godly character and reputation (I Timothy 3:1-7; Titus 1:5-9), who endorses the statement of faith, pastoral code of ethics, and mission of Liberty Baptist Church.
